Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally with a focus on technical or engineering recruitment
  • Advanced interviewing skills across phone, video, and structured formats
  • Strong sourcing capabilities, including LinkedIn Recruiter and social platforms
  • Proven ability to assess candidate experience, motivation, and cultural alignment
  • Experience developing creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles
  • Demonstrated success advising hiring managers throughout the full recruitment lifecycle
  • High performance expectations for self and others.
  • Proactive and results-driven.
  • Clear, concise, and engaging communicator.
  • Works effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, role requirements, and long-term talent priorities.
  • Design and execute tailored recruiting strategies for technical, engineering, and corporate roles.
  • Proactively source passive candidates through social platforms, networks, career sites, and industry channels.
  • Conduct thoughtful pre-screening conversations to evaluate skills, experience, and organizational fit.
  • Communicate Badger Meter’s employee value proposition and highlight what makes us a standout employer.
  • Craft and extend offer letters to selected candidates.
  • Lead or contribute to talent acquisition initiatives such as employer branding, process optimization, and candidate experience enhancements.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with candidates and hiring teams to ensure a smooth and engaging hiring journey.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market challenges to inform hiring strategies.
  • Represent Badger Meter at career fairs, community events, and workforce development programs.
