As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at American Water, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the recruitment strategies for our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to lead recruitment efforts for open positions within a defined client group, ensuring alignment with American Water's Talent Acquisition framework while adhering to labor laws and industry regulations. You will assist in the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies that align with organizational goals, guiding the hiring process for key initiatives and projects in collaboration with the talent acquisition team, cross-functional partners, and client groups. In this role, you will provide mentorship and career development to members of the Talent Acquisition Team, establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with leadership, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders. You will partner with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each role, identifying candidate profiles that fit those needs. Your innovative approach will drive a continuous improvement mindset, allowing you to act as a Candidate Career Coach and subject matter expert for Hiring Managers. You will also be responsible for understanding the organization’s long-term needs and building candidate pipelines to meet those needs. Utilizing labor market trends and internal data, you will drive hiring strategies and perform all full-cycle recruiting responsibilities, including pre-screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates, as well as supporting the offer process. Participation in recruiting events, both in-person and virtually, will also be part of your responsibilities. Throughout the process, you will ensure that the talent acquisition process is executed with the highest quality, integrity, and professionalism.
