About The Position

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Tableau Engineer / Analytics Consultant to lead the development of advanced analytics solutions using Tableau and other BI tools. The role involves gathering complex business requirements, designing scalable data models, and building secure, high-performance dashboards. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel and local office presence preferred to support client engagement and compliance needs.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of hands-on Tableau development experience.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and data preparation skills (including Tableau Prep).
• Experience with cloud databases like Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI, Looker, MicroStrategy) is a plus.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with other Business Intelligence/Analytics tools such as Power BI, Looker, and MicroStrategy.
• Tableau certifications, MicroStrategy certifications, and Microsoft certified Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300).
• Knowledge of AI features and functions such as Power BI Copilot and Google Gemini.
• Manufacturing industry knowledge and experience.
• Python skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and define complex business and technical requirements for analytics solutions.
• Design, implement, and deploy efficient Tableau data sources for large-scale enterprises.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to support data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop and secure Tableau dashboards with Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Collaborate within Agile teams using tools like Jira and GitHub.
• Conduct impact and root cause analysis, and support unit testing.
