Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering or Data Analytics from an accredited institution, or a foreign degree evaluated as equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a data visualization, BI development, or data analytics role
  • Tableau certifications (e.g., Tableau Certified Data Analyst, Tableau Certified Associate Consultant)
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with Tableau Cloud, including dashboards, complex calculations, and Tableau Prep Flows
  • Proven ability to connect and integrate diverse data sources within the Tableau ecosystem
  • Experience leveraging Tableau's AI features (e.g., Pulse, Agent) to deliver predictive insights
  • Skilled in using AI coding assistants (e.g., Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot) for code analysis and development
  • Proficient in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and workflow automation with Control-M
  • Strong background in data analysis, data modeling, cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and executive-level storytelling

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards and KPIs in Tableau for clear, impactful insights
  • Manage and optimize Tableau Cloud, including data sources, embedded sources, and Tableau Prep Flows
  • Drive adoption of Tableau's AI-powered features (e.g., Pulse, Agent) to deliver predictive, actionable insights
  • Serve as a Tableau SME, testing new features and collaborating with admins on rollout strategies
  • Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot) to enhance development speed and data workflows
  • Automate data workflows with Python and Control-M, and perform in-depth analysis across diverse data sources
