About the Role: Mytra's Systems Integration and Test team is seeking a mechanically-oriented Systems Test Engineer to design and execute advanced structural and dynamic testing for warehouse robotics and pallet racking systems. As a Systems Test Engineer, you'll develop comprehensive test methodologies for high-load mechanical systems, working with mechanical assemblies and structural pallet racking. You'll collaborate closely with mechanical design, systems, and firmware engineers to validate performance limits, establish safety margins, and create robust mechanical validation processes that ensure Mytra's product can handle the demanding warehouse environment. This role requires on-site presence at our Brisbane, CA headquarters. Example Projects: Develop comprehensive design of experiments (DOE) and system-level test plans for mechanical validation. Create statistical test matrices that efficiently characterize performance and define test sequences that validate structural integrity, fatigue life, and safety margins for new robotic system designs. Design and build mechanical test systems for structural validation, creating custom test fixtures and instrumentation layouts that integrate hydraulic actuators, strain measurement, and data acquisition systems in order to simulate accelerated operational wear Perform failure mode analysis of mechanical systems, conducting root cause investigations of material failures and collaborate with design engineers on targeted improvements A Final Note: You’re encouraged to apply even if you can’t take on every example project in its totality. We work closely and collaboratively at Mytra - No one takes on projects alone. We seek people who are eager to work together, learn new things, and bring unique perspectives.
