Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Systems engineering experience in translating needs to design requirements and V&V.
  • Ability to lead cross functional efforts to validate service processes.
  • Understanding of service customer needs and application to new product designs.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement engineering solutions for Design for Service on new product development for Front Line Care Products.
  • Work with cross functional teams from R&D Engineering, Connectivity/SW Engineering, Service, Marketing, Quality, Sustaining Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to facilitate service solutions on new product development and business critical product sustaining engineering projects.
  • Define the technical customer's user needs during early phases of new product development to ensure products are designed for serviceability.
  • Facilitate integration of new released products across all Baxter divisions to service software platforms.
  • Facilitate strategy for the Service Organization during early phases of new product development regarding service locations, customer escalations, testing requirements, and creation of service manuals.
  • Define and implement service software and network support strategies for installation, setup, administration, disassembly/reassembly methods, training, escalation support, and process documentation for new products.
  • Define service method requirements to develop, release, and maintain service software, tooling, test equipment, processes, and materials.
