About The Position

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Security Engineer/Operations Research Analyst for support to the Naval Aviation Training Systems and Ranges Program Office (PMA-205) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. PMA-205 provides full lifecycle acquisition of naval aviation platform and general training systems, training range instrumentation systems, and distributed mission training centers. Tactical Combat Training System Increment II (TCTS II) is a next generation secure, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) enabling, air combat training system that offers realistic threat scenarios and secure cross-service training.

Requirements

  • Management, Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university.
  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Business, Management, Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience
  • At least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering or operations analysis position, three (3) of which must be directly related to DoD systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in area of engineering expertise is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communications and teamwork skills working in a collaborative environment
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required
  • This position will required SCI/SAP access.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Location: On-Site at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Review and communicate system security architecture and requirements for TCTSII and future Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) air combat training programs.
  • Integrate systems security requirements into systems architectures and development, to include Cross-Domain Solution (CDS), cryptographic and anti-tamper requirements.
  • Develop and assist with the processes for approval of security systems by National Security Agency (NSA) and Navy entities.
  • Provides high-level subject matter expertise, analysis, and technical guidance to support project execution
  • Plan programs to meet current and future systems security requirements
  • Execute risk management, identify vulnerabilities, assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provides advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems
  • Administers complex areas of the network, security analysis, and planning.
