The senior systems scientist leads the research and investigation of new technologies for X-ray microscopy, pushing performance (resolution, contrast, speed, image quality, imaging modalities) beyond the state-of-the-art. This will involve contributing to and driving the organization’s research agenda, and owning research projects in your area. The senior systems scientist’s research is focused on the prototyping, investigation, and quantitative characterization of novel detector components, X-ray sources, X-ray source operation and modes, improved system designs, and novel system concepts.
