Learn more about career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com The Senior Systems Operations Engineer is a core member of the Cybersecurity Platforms Operations group, providing hands‑on operational support for the enterprise ServiceNow platform and its affiliated applications. This role serves as the “boots on the ground” team responsible for platform health, monitoring, availability, and operational readiness across a highly federated ServiceNow ecosystem supporting more than 50 contributing teams. This is an operations‑focused role—not development—centered on keeping the platform stable, performant, and ready for continuous delivery in a large, always‑on SaaS environment. In this role, you will: Provide hands‑on operational support for the ServiceNow SaaS platform and its interdependent integrations and feeder systems Own platform health, availability, and performance monitoring across multiple ServiceNow suites and modules Act as a senior operational responder for platform incidents, service degradations, and stability issues Support a dynamic, ticket‑driven environment using ServiceNow and Jira, including intake via formal tickets and ad‑hoc escalations (e.g., Teams). Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of experience administering and operating ServiceNow in a complex, multi‑team ecosystem

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience supporting SaaS platform health, availability, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Experience working in ticket‑based operational environments with competing priorities
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Security Operations, IRM/GRC, CMDB, or Service Catalog
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, integrations, and platform dependencies
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow release cycles and operational responsibilities during upgrades and patches.
  • ITIL process knowledge (incident, problem, change management)
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA or module‑specific certifications)
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models and formal change management processes
  • Change management and process analysis experience
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR) and financial industry standards
