Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our SI&T team in Richardson, TX. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T), we integrate, verify, and validate our products to ensure they work the first time—and every time. We assemble systems, test them in both lab and field environments, measure and analyze performance, and confirm that all components function seamlessly together. To accomplish this, we develop comprehensive plans and procedures, troubleshoot and evaluate system functions and interfaces, build test environments, and collaborate closely with our customers throughout the process. What You Will Do In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with systems integration and testing of software products in Agile, CI/CD environments
  • Experience with regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging software-based systems and products
  • Experience with with Linux (Red Hat), Python, and/or Perl scripting
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Polygraph after start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
  • Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations), CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience in Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher, SoapUI)
  • Experience with Java, C++, or Python, Experience with Linux operating system, Experience in a Cloud environment; AWS certification is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team.
  • Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts.
  • Troubleshoot and debug system issues.
  • Operate effectively within an Agile program environment.
