As a Systems Engineer, you will lead a cross-functional hardware, software, and system design team responsible for the realization of complex systems. You'll contribute to CONOPS, requirements definition, system modeling, performance analysis, design, integration, test, and verification of these systems.

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to solve complex engineering problems from concept development through design and verification testing.
  • Define system behavior and system structure.
  • Verify and validate system models.
  • Design complex systems and subsystems.
  • Analyze customer requirements, develop system requirements, and define allocations to lower levels (elements and components).
  • Ensure requirements traceability and breakdown from a test perspective.
  • Assign test methods and design test cases and procedures based on lower level and customer requirements.
  • Develop test strategies and procedures based on customer requirements.
  • Perform technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for subsystems and system elements.
  • Conduct detailed technical analyses for a system, subsystem or system elements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
  • 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in application of MBSE tools (i.e., MagicDraw and/or Cameo).
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly align the team to program goals.
  • Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in negotiation.
  • Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the systems development life cycle.
  • Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership.
  • Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
