As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be an integral member of the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team, working closely with internal team members and key stakeholders, including customers and program leaders. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed Logistics Supportability Analyses, provisioning data for parts, and conducting spares analyses to ensure hardware availability across a specific product line. Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. The organization is comprised of multiple disciplines that support engineering teams, program offices, and our customers. LCE disciplines are engaged throughout the entire product life cycle—from initial concept and design through deployment, sustainment, and eventual deactivation. This is a full-time onsite role based in Tewksbury, MA

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with data collection and/or analysis
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance after start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with various areas of the Technical Data Package (drawings, parts lists, and electrical schematics) and experience generating/interpreting Parts List, system drawings and/or logistics plans.
  • Spares Analysis and Spares List Development (Poisson Based Statistical Analysis, OPUS Suite, or similar analysis software experience)
  • Experience in performing Level of Repairability Analysis (LORA) using COMPASS and/or OPUS.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of Logistics Management Information (LMI) in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-PRF-49506
  • Experience utilizing EAGLE, POWERLOG or SLICWave tools

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining supportability analyses and provisioning data
  • Collaboration with cross-product teams including Chief Engineers, Program Directors and Program Managers
  • Applying advanced logistics principles to develop complex program level concepts and plans
  • Providing support for proposal development and BOE writing.
  • 10% or less Domestic and/or International Travel May Be Required
