About The Position

BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking a diligent and proactive individual with a proven high quality work ethic to fill a mid-level Systems Engineering (SE) position to support the readiness and sustainment of the United States Air Force (USAF) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Weapon System (WS). The individual must hold a valid Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university. This role will work closely with the customer, the United States Air Force (USAF) Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), to apply SE principles and best practices to optimize WS sustainment and acquisition activities for the remainder of the system lifecycle. Qualified candidates will bring a positive attitude and high professionalism to the organization. Preference is given to applicants with Minuteman III (MMIII) experience, working knowledge of associated sustainment activities, and a strong understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) fundamentals. This role's responsibilities will require you: Utilize your knowledge of SE/MBSE processes, practices, tools, and related modeling languages and frameworks (e.g. SysML, UML, UAF) to solve complex technical problems Guide a program in their total MBSE development activities Collaborate with project teams and leadership to contribute to the development of MBSE training materials and company best practices Join our team of trailblazers and help shape the future of engineering at BAE Systems. Requirements

  • BS/MS Engineering degree
  • 4 years of directly related experience (2 years with MS degree) in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Nice To Haves

  • Current Secret clearance
  • Experience with Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) program
  • Experience with DOD Acquisition programs
  • Proficiency in UML, SysML, and other relevant modeling languages and frameworks
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
