Senior Systems Engineer
About The Position
BS in Engineering or Computer Science. 6+ years of engineering experience developing and specifying HW/SW systems. Experience in design & development of complex system analysis from concept through commercialization. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong proficiency in creating and improving system and product requirements. Proficiency in drafting, analyzing, and managing product requirements, including traceability from stakeholder needs through verification and validation activities. Experience with Requirements Management tools like Jama. Demonstrated expertise in creating system-level design documentation, including system architecture, interface definitions, and design specifications across complex, multidisciplinary systems. Hands-on experience working with both capital equipment (e.g., diagnostic platforms, surgical systems) and single-use disposable devices. MS/PhD in Engineering or Computer Science. 6+ years of experience in a formal Systems Engineering role. Medical Device industry experience in design controls with a focus on user needs, intended use, system requirements, system design, and traceability. Experience with risk management, including the identification of effective risk controls. Experience contributing to our co-leading technology development initiatives. Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including problem resolution.
