About The Position

The Systems Engineer will ensure the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration. The System Analyst will work with government stakeholders, development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities. Provides on-site engineering, support, and research of SIGINT/IO/EW/CSO systems Identifies, de-conflicts and orchestrates integration of innovative technology being developed throughout the community Systems Engineering Support over a broad range of hardware types including RF assemblies, power supplies (AC and DC), FPGAs, digital signal processors, network/server equipment, and embedded architectures Plans, tests, and provides technical expertise to the identification of innovative technology within the community Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products and services Analyzes, interprets, and generates Engineering Schematics and Change Notices System and performance modeling Root Cause Analysis Hardware Design with respect to component/assembly analysis, specification, integration, and testing RF System/Subsystem analysis and specification review Provides engineering support to the process of integrating novel solutions to existing Programs of Record (POR) Provides transition support of newly identified and innovative technology to existing PORs Utilizes communication skills and the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely, employing technical writing techniques [#LI-LL1] FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Ten or more (10+) years’ experience with systems engineering
  • Three or more (3+) years’ experience operating in Windows or Linux environment
  • Three (3+) or more years’ experience conducting Linux system administration
  • Three (3+) or more years’ experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Three (3+) or more years’ experience with System and/or Network security related activities
  • Experience conducting system design life-cycle management
  • Must be comfortable applying existing skillset to novel systems with little-to-no existing documentation or directions
  • Must be a team player, dedicated to program support, capable of multitasking and working several complex and diverse tasks with simultaneous or near simultaneous deadlines
  • Be a self-starter who is accountable and requires minimal direction and supervision; a person who is open to new ideas
