Requirements

  • This role requires Subject Matter Expertise and the ability to provide mentorship, guidance and training to other team members.
  • 7-10 years in a previous systems engineering or infrastructure roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL fundamentals, Microsoft 365/Azure, and VMware Certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management Administer and maintain physical and virtual servers Manage SAN storage systems and enterprise backup solutions. Oversee patching and updates for SQL Server and other critical systems. Manage SQL clusters and databases.
  • Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Design and maintain DR and BCP strategies. Conduct regular testing and validation of recovery procedures.
  • Security & Compliance Perform system hardening and vulnerability remediation. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitoring & Support Provide Level 2 & 3 support for infrastructure and business applications. Participates in on-call rotation of after-hours emergency support and maintenance of a 365x24x7 production environment.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity/access controls.
  • Network & Capacity Planning Assist in network design and performance optimization. Conduct capacity planning and resource forecasting.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions. Support hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives. Optimize cloud resource usage and cost management.
