Carlton Fields is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for its Tampa office. Job Responsibilities: Design and implement a functional, secure, and redundant systems infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to systems operations, redundancy, reliability, security, and performance. Configure and install software, servers, storage, storage/systems infrastructure, and other network devices. Suggest and deploy improvements to systems performance, redundancy, security, capacity, and scalability. Monitor systems performance, security, and integrity. Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness. Create, oversee, and test security measures. Maintain technical documentation. Be a mentor to team members. Excellent attention to detail. Problem-solving and critical thinking. Position requires after-hours and weekend on-call support. Qualifications/Skills: Strong VMware engineering and administration. Strong Windows Server engineering and administration. Strong skills with complex systems infrastructure. Strong understanding of network infrastructure as it relates to Server and Storage integration. Excellent troubleshooting skills of complex systems. Ability to work independently or part of a group. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education and Experience Requirements: 10+ years engineering complex systems and network environments. Actual salaries will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience and skillset. The salary range listed is just one component of the Carlton Fields total compensation package for employees. Other monetary rewards include annual discretionary bonuses based on performance and profit-sharing contributions based on eligibility and firm profitability.
