About The Position
Systems Engineer (El Segundo) Duties Provide technical expertise and systems integration support to ensure an optimal integrated GPS System design Contribute to the overarching approach and processes for integrating, synchronizing, tracking and analyzing dependencies across programmatic and organizational boundaries Develop engineering and data models and populate them with up-to-date information to enable automated integration analyses Provide technical support for test activities that characterize system performance Perform and present data analysis that drive decisions on government programs Support GPS Enterprise Risk & Opportunities management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and nine (9) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience working across space, ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements and key performance parameters to ensure end-to-end mission performance requirements are met
- Experience with system architecture development
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, specifically attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work well in multi-team setting, and willing to take on additional technical and administrative tasks/duties as needed
Nice To Haves
- Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
- Space vehicle as well as other GPS related experience
- Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations
