The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of IT infrastructure. This includes the programmatic integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendations, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks. The candidate will develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. The Systems Engineer will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.
