Senior Systems Engineer
About The Position
Systems Engineers at Judgment Labs architect and optimize the infrastructure that powers agent evaluation and reward modeling. You will build high performance systems for distributed inference, scalable telemetry capture, and reliable data storage. About Judgment Labs Judgment Labs builds infrastructure for evaluating, monitoring, and improving long trajectory agents. Leading AI labs and fast growing companies use our platform to measure agent behavior, train reward models, and create reliable self improvement loops. We are a venture backed company based in San Francisco, working in person to move quickly and build the core systems that will shape the next generation of autonomous agents.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in systems engineering or large scale backend work
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and performance tuning
- Experience with GPU clusters, orchestration frameworks, or similar environments
- Strong debugging skills across complex systems
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain infrastructure for model serving and agent telemetry
- Optimize distributed compute pipelines for throughput and cost
- Implement robust data ingestion, logging, and monitoring systems
- Work with researchers to support large scale experiments
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
