As a Senior Systems Engineer in the Windows and RHEL Services Squad, you will: Work with the Product Owner and Squad members to design, develop, test, automate, and maintain deployment solutions for Windows and Linux environments. Develop and maintain automation tooling and playbooks using Ansible, Python, and supporting technologies. Build and enhance infrastructure-as-code and configuration management pipelines following DevOps and Bitbucket best practices. Deploy and configure systems following established change and release management standards. Provide L2 operational support for Windows, Linux, and underlying infrastructure components. Collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver reliable and scalable platform solutions. Contribute to observability improvements (monitoring, alerting, dashboards). Document architectures, systems, and procedures; present solutions clearly to teammates and stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement through automation, transparency, and knowledge sharing. Partner with other infrastructure teams (Compute, Network, Storage, Security) to ensure high service quality.

Requirements

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10 years’ experience engineering and supporting large‑scale Windows and Red Hat platforms on both bare‑metal and virtualized infrastructures.
  • Hands‑on experience in enterprise environments with strong operational disciplines and change management processes.
  • Experience supporting or developing automation solutions in a large Enterprise environment
  • Strong skills in Ansible and Python
  • Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration
  • Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and OS deployment
  • Troubleshooting complex OS and performance issues
  • Understanding of enterprise storage protocols (NFS, SMB, iSCSI)
  • Filesystem management and tuning (NTFS, XFS, ext4)
  • Experience with backup, monitoring, and hardware lifecycle processes
  • Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and load balancing
  • Understanding of ITIL and operational change management principles
  • High adaptability and comfort working in a changing environment
  • Strong ownership and accountability for delivering outcomes
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in an Agile, collaborative squad model
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft or Red Hat professional certifications are a plus (e.g., MSCA/MSCE, RHCSA/RHCE).
  • Knowledge of PowerShell is an asset
  • Familiarity with YAML/JSON and Git version control
