About The Position
NPR is seeking a Systems Engineer for its IT Infrastructure team who will contribute to the design, administration, and support of all existing and new server infrastructure. This role is essential in managing systems supported by the Infrastructure team, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Systems Engineer will be involved in various tasks including enterprise storage management, server builds, patch management, and virtual machine management. The position requires a proactive approach to evaluating cloud strategies and system architecture, as well as maintaining all cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also act as an escalation point for critical issues and will be responsible for documenting processes and procedures to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
