About The Position

At Fluke, Systems Engineers are at the center of innovation—bridging advanced sensing, control, and electronics into products that set the industry standard for accuracy and reliability. You’ll play a key role in defining how next-generation calibration, test and measurement tools are conceived, designed, and delivered. As a Systems Engineer, you will guide cross-functional teams—spanning Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Manufacturing engineering—to integrate complex technologies into reliable, high-performance products that delight our customers. What You’ll Do System Leadership Lead system-level design and integration of test, measurement, and calibration products. Drive technical program delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved and risks are managed. Requirements & Design Document, manage, and validate system requirements across the product lifecycle. Define and refine control strategies, sensing approaches, and signal-conditioning techniques. Translate engineering concepts into end-to-end solutions that provide measurable customer value. Quality & Manufacturability Ensure designs are robust, manufacturable, and sustainable for long-term use in demanding environments. Partner closely with Product Management and Manufacturing to align innovation with customer needs and factory capabilities. Key Challenges You’ll Tackle Balancing advanced sensing, control, and signal-processing innovation with real-world manufacturability. Coordinating technical delivery across diverse disciplines and global factory operations. Driving product consistency and reliability from early design through high-volume production. Ensuring products deliver trusted performance over long service lifetimes. How Success Will Be Measured Deliver clear, validated system architectures and requirements that align cross-functional teams. Consistently meet technical milestones with quality validated through reviews and customer feedback. Build strong partnerships across engineering, product management, and operations to enable product success. Maintain expertise in sensor, control, and systems engineering, applying the latest trends and tools to your work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in system-level design, requirements management, and technical program delivery.
  • Strong foundation in analog/digital hardware, control-system theory, and calibration practices.
  • Proficiency in problem solving, technical documentation, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience with microprocessors, DSPs, FPGAs, and common lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across disciplines.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to candidates with experience designing electronic systems and manufacturing systems for electronics products.
