About The Position

Senior Systems Engineer - Operations/Systems Analysis Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Space and Launch Division is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Operations/Systems Analysis (Level 5) to perform mission product quality analysis and leadership for our dynamic 24/7 team in Las Cruces, NM. Senior Systems Engineer is a senior contractor on site and works closely with government customers to direct operations. Provides overall operation management for all real-time operations elements. Provides continuity of system knowledge. Assists government customer in responding to real-time contingencies in operations. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willing to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to successfully complete the Space Vehicle Certification program which requires a combination of self-study and on-the-job (OJT) training
• This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
• This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with coding/scripting with various languages (MATLAB, Pearl, etc...)
• Prior experience working with space vehicles
• Prior operational leadership position
