Collins Aerospace is looking for a talented Senior Systems Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to work onsite in Richardson, TX. You will work on program sustainment and modernization efforts spanning the product lifecycle, including customer engagement, requirements definition, software/hardware development & integration, as system test & validation as well as deployment & maintenance. You will work closely with the program team engaging engineers from systems, software, cybersecurity, and infrastructure to ensure the product delivery to the customer and end users is done with minimal impact to the operational execution. You will perform integration, test, and documentation duties to ensure proper operation of product within both factory and operational platforms. You will adhere to accepted standards and processes for development, including participating in peer reviews, maintaining test environments & coverage, providing feedback for product improvements as well as working to ensure consistency in quality and performance. You will have designated responsibilities supporting one of three program Product Owners executing the different facets of the program: sustainment, infrastructure and/or modernization. You will work with the Lead Systems Engineer to ensure the overall system execution is reliable, maintainable, and deployable while always meeting operational performance.   • Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in integration, testing, requirements development.
  • Linux command line and scripting experience.
  • Automation tool solution experience.
  • Experience using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Atlassian/Jira toolset for task management.
  • Experience with configuring, integrating, troubleshooting applications.
  • Windows Server experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Configuration Management experience.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development.
  • Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience using continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • RHEL certification.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Linux+ certification.
  • Nessus/ACAS experience.
