The Controls IT Integration team is responsible for validating manufacturing equipment datasets in support of various GM IT Manufacturing IT systems across GM. General Motors is now hiring for a Senior Systems Engineer for our Tonawanda Engine plant in Buffalo, NY. This role will also provide secondary support to our Lockport Components along with the St. Catherines, Ontario Propulsion plant. The GM Manufacturing Controls Integration Engineers are critical to ensuring the Manufacturing IT Controls Memory Map specification is comprehensively and accurately deployed within GM's Engine, Transmission and Castings product programs. Manufacturing Controls Integration Engineer responsibilities range from high-level business and supplier user interfaces to define and document IT dataset technical specifications, to hands-on dataset validation and debugging to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product launch related Manufacturing IT systems. Role requires physical location/travel to GM vendor and manufacturing sites while performing work representing the goals and direction from the Central IT group in Warren, Michigan.
