In this high-impact role, you'll shape the architecture and integration of mission-critical GEOINT systems that directly support U.S. and allied operations.

  • Mentor and guide mid- and junior-level systems engineers across the full engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, solution architecture and systems integration, scheduling and service development, testing, evaluation, and maintainability, reliability and resiliency engineering.
  • Lead planning and analysis of user requirements and system architectures.
  • Improve system performance through the review of cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints.
  • Oversee the development of solution designs based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies.
  • Translate mission and customer needs into actionable system and capability requirements.
  • Support the allocation of requirements to architecture components and program execution.
  • Guide systems integration across multiple platforms, programs, and agencies.
  • Conduct technical assessments including Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
  • Assist in strategic planning and oversight of project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
  • Operate at the enterprise level-integrating multiple systems, services, and processes within Major Systems Acquisitions, spanning organizational and agency boundaries.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or other related STEM disciplines, or 12 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in government or industry in DoD/Intelligence Community (IC) Acquisition Processes, requirements development processes, PPBES (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System), and systems engineering of large, complex System of Systems (SoS) or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI eligibility and pass a polygraph.
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical or scientific field.
  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, languages, and processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: Photogrammetry, Remote sensing, Image science, Information sciences, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geomatics, or other related geospatial fields.
  • Documented work experience in the Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) field.
  • In-depth knowledge of current NSG, ASG, and NRO enterprise.
  • Membership or leadership in professional organizations such as ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, or USGIF.
  • Heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents.
  • 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap.
  • Eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.
