FORVIA - HELLA is seeking its next great lead systems engineer to join our growing body controls team. The primary function of this position will be to partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive development of our next generation product design. If chosen for this opportunity you will gain access to product engineering focused on the next generation control modules.

  • Own and manage product creation processes using aspice guidelines and working alongside analysts, architects, and requirements/change owners.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to create and manage requirements.
  • Direct technical customer interface and overall accountable for the creation of the System Requirements Specification based on the specified Customer Requirements.
  • Drive the collaboration of cross-functional international stakeholders.
  • Defines and watch over risk management in the projects.
  • Lead new program acquisition and current program redesign changes.
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in evaluating, analyzing, and eliciting requirements.
  • Experience in automotive ECU development: Closure Control Units, Power liftgates, Seat control Modules, Occupant Detection Systems, etc.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
  • Experience with requirements tools such as doors or Rhapsody.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • 8+ years of combined experience leading (automotive electrical HW design, Embedded Software Development or ECU verification and validation).
  • Previous exposure to concepts/tools such as Autosar, Aspice, functional safety, cyber security, FMEA, Matlab modeling, ECU Hardware design.
  • Prior high voltage experience.
