About the position

The Senior Systems Architect at JHNA will lead the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team to enhance peer review, knowledge sharing, and training across various contracts. This hybrid role requires on-site support as needed and involves managing MBSE engineers while providing expertise in Digital Engineering Transformation and Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) for PEO Army Aviation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MBSE team to promote peer review and knowledge sharing.
• Manage MBSE engineers and guide their professional development.
• Responsible for all MBSE training within PEO Aviation, including creating and delivering training products.
• Provide MBSE expertise in Digital Engineering Transformation and MOSA for various programs.
• Act as Lead Systems Engineer and Product Owner for an enterprise architecture framework model.
• Create custom profiles in Cameo Enterprise Architect.
• Develop Views, Viewpoints, and Viewpoint Diagrams for external stakeholders.
• Create DoDAF views using UPDM, UAF, and SysML.
• Write validation rules/suite for customer processes.
• Write training modules for customized profiles, views, and validation rules.
• Serve as modeling Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PEO Aviation programs.
• Develop and maintain MagicDraw SysML and UAF models.
• Provide technical expertise on architecture development and review contractor models.
• Lead evaluation of software component models for reusability analysis.
• Participate in PEO Aviation MBSE and Digital Engineering working groups.
• Engage in FACE consortium events and technical interchange meetings.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited college/university.
• At least 10 years of hands-on systems engineering experience, preferably on DoD Mission, Aircraft or Weapons Systems.
• At least 5 years of hands-on MBSE experience (CAMEO/MAGICDRAW).
