About The Position
The Senior Systems and Infrastructure Engineer in Information Security is responsible for enhancing the security posture of the organization by leveraging people, processes, and technology to ensure security system availability. This role involves writing and approving change control installation plans, leading the transformation of customer needs into security solutions that deliver business value while improving security, and guiding team members on changes. The engineer will lead the installation of security systems, review system performance with suppliers and team members, recommend and implement improvements, and engage suppliers to drive security solutions for the business. Additionally, the engineer will assess potential security system issues, conduct security audits, manage multiple initiatives, and ensure the completion of assigned tasks while collaborating within a matrix environment. The role also includes developing and implementing security system designs and products that are consistent with company needs, gathering and reviewing requirements for new security system implementations, evaluating supplier products, enforcing security standards, and ensuring compliance with information technology governance standards. The engineer will take ownership of security system issues, lead root cause analysis, create reports and actionable metrics, and provide expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
