Senior Systems Analyst (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Austin, TX): Provides operational support for clients using the Charles River system and works closely with clients to provide expert level remote management, administration, and support for client production related to Charles River Investment Management Suite (IMS) solutions. Specific duties of the position include: Providing client assistance in optimal use of the system including: user administration/privileges, parameter configuration changes, system availability, application and database performance tuning, daily operational processing monitoring and support, and Charles River IMS software patches and version upgrades; Assisting with problem support and resolution and providing Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery assistance; Working with vendors as partners to deliver a tightly integrated, seamless service to Charles River clients and participating in the development and on-going refinement, enhancement, and continuous process improvement for the services; and Contributing in the investigation, implementation, and operation of third-party tools to enhance/improve, automate, and streamline the delivery of the services. Part time telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field; and 2 years of experience providing analysis or production support of mission critical, real-time ORACLE and/or SQL server-based applications. Alternatively, the Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field; and 5 years of experience providing analysis or production support of mission critical, real-time ORACLE and/or SQL server-based applications. Must have: Demonstrated solid ability writing process automation scripts using Perl, Unix Shell Scripts and Windows batch scripting to reduce manual effort and errors; Demonstrated solid ability providing production support of mission critical real time applications, including incident and change management within an ORACLE and SQL Server environment; Demonstrated solid ability with database configuration, operations and administration, including writing complex SQL queries, within an ORACLE, Sybase or SQL Server environment; Demonstrated solid ability writing Perl, Java/J2EE or PowerShell automation testing scripts to perform functional testing, acceptance testing regression testing and integration testing, and scheduling automated Batch scripts using -- Tidal, Autosys or Jenkins -- for real-time, mission critical processing applications; Demonstrated solid ability with set-up, maintenance, upgrades and patching of various Enterprise software/applications on Windows environment; and Demonstrated solid ability performing production support, including trouble shooting issues, implementation and deployment of bug fixes and patches and performing incident tracking and management using Salesforce, Jira and ServiceNow.
