About The Position

The Senior Systems Analyst (Operations) is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, monitoring, and reliability of complex enterprise systems. This role focuses on system stability, batch processing, application performance, infrastructure support, and incident resolution across cloud and on-premise environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience performing Informatica PowerCenter operations, administration, or troubleshooting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a batch operator using Control-M or equivalent tools
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with PostgreSQL or similar database environments
  • Experience supporting healthcare, insurance, or health and human services systems
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and experience working in complex system environments
  • Experience with application and batch integration
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL functions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience supporting daily operations of complex enterprise systems
  • 5+ years of experience managing batch job configurations and schedules
  • Experience troubleshooting application issues in JBoss/Tomcat environments hosted on AWS
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure and providing risk mitigation recommendations
  • Experience configuring and managing Control-M or similar batch tools
  • Experience managing cloud-hosted web-based systems
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations
  • Understanding of Java runtime concepts such as heap memory, garbage collection, and thread management
  • Experience working within structured project management and change control frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, manage, and support Informatica PowerCenter, including mappings, workflows, jobs, and ETL processes
  • Assess the impact of system upgrades and perform troubleshooting related to Informatica components
  • Identify and resolve system outages, installation issues, and application errors in Java-based applications running in AWS
  • Generate, install, and manage SSL certificates and PGP keys
  • Configure and manage batch schedules using Control-M or equivalent scheduling tools
  • Restore services and manage users, access controls, and governance processes
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat JBoss, Fuse, Apache, and Tomcat servers
  • Perform system troubleshooting by reviewing application and system logs using tools such as Splunk
  • Read, understand, and enhance scripts related to applications, batch jobs, and web services
  • Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins to automate code check-in and build processes
  • Monitor and configure application performance and alerting tools
  • Support production releases and ensure compliance with change management standards
  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities, including patching, tuning, and backups
  • Execute and monitor daily batch operations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Perform capacity planning and scalability analysis
  • Manage incidents and change requests using tools such as JIRA Service Desk
  • Participate in on-call and rotation-based shift coverage
