The Senior Systems Analyst (Epic Cadence Certification) is responsible for working at the highest technical level of all phases of application systems analysis, workflow analysis, build, design, testing, interface knowledge, and programming activities. Under general direction, the analyst formulates and defines system scope and objectives. The role requires the ability to work individually or as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and may involve leading and completing projects. The analyst will regularly provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts and will collaborate with business owners, physicians, clinicians, stakeholders, and IT personnel to assess and develop best practice models. The position may also support the implementation and upgrades to clinical and biomedical applications, providing weekly status updates on project progress. Travel to KSC clinic locations for implementation, training, and support is required.

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in applicable healthcare clinical operations, project management, or systems design, implementation, configuration or support.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Strong ability to define clinical and operating requirements and translate them into actionable system configurations.
  • Ability to test and audit system configurations for functional accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, relationship, teamwork, and project management skills.
  • Strong conceptual, process, and data analysis skills.
  • In-depth understanding of medical practice informatics and clinical data sets.
  • Proficiency in desktop computer systems (Windows, Microsoft Office, email) and experience in clinical or practice management systems.
  • Clinical or Advanced Degree.
  • Ambulatory EMR implementation and support experience.
  • Supervisory and performance management experience.
  • Complex project management experience with demonstrably successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of clinical data sets (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9, etc).
