About The Position

The Senior Systems Administrator at MSM Technology LLC is responsible for managing security logs, supporting AWS network infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with security requirements in a government environment. This role involves working with various technologies and methodologies to maintain system security and support software development processes.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in the Java programming language.
• Five or more years of experience with the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and experience with one or more Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) platforms such as Glassfish or JBoss EAP.
• One or more years of Agile software development experience.
• One or more years of experience with Jira.
• Experience in maintaining system security configuration.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of workflow systems in an AWS cloud environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of industry best practices and standards for software engineering and system compliance.
• Experience with software development lifecycle from requirements to operational system and system decommission.
• Experience with software configuration management including version control, bug/issue tracking, and software build tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and reviewing security logs and taking required actions.
• Experience with AWS network infrastructure and management, including VPC, security groups, and NACL.
• Support the achievement of Authority to Test (ATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Identify security control requirements.
• Assist with parsing through code scanning to identify vulnerabilities.
