If you’re ready to join our mission of setting the standard for IT excellence, we are looking for a talented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Senior Systems Administrator you’ll manage and support Microsoft-based systems across on-premises and cloud environments, oversee incident resolution and root cause analysis, and lead project-based initiatives that drive infrastructure improvement. You’ll play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining client cloud environment, leveraging your expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint, while documenting best practices and creating runbooks to strengthen operational consistency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience administering Microsoft Microsoft-based solutions and products: Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Windows Server, Active Directory, etc.
  • U.S. Citizen (Federal client requirement).
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology/security, Computer (Information) Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline. Or 10+ years of demonstrated experience in systems administration with a focus on Microsoft and Cloud Technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certifications: MCP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and standards (ITIL, ISO 20000-1, CMMI-SVCs) a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of tools like ConnectWise Automate, Hudu, Mimecast, Meraki, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to junior staff and peers.
  • Manage incident and problem resolution, including root cause analysis.
  • Handle hardware and software troubleshooting, end-user support, and ticket handling.
  • Manage and implement assigned project-based solutions, communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and run books.
  • Assist in planning, installation, and support of client cloud systems infrastructure.
  • Support on-premises hardware and software and cloud-based devices and related software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to client infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call, after-hours, and weekend support as needed.
