About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator/TTO Lead to join their team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The dynamic team delivers information security solutions that facilitate secure data flows and the detection/prevention of unauthorized behaviors, perform system security vulnerability assessments and solution development, and provide enterprise-level network, server, desktop, and application security services. The ideal candidate will have experience leading technical teams (system administrators, ISSEs, etc) and the ability to review mission performance to ensure proper execution of the mission. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required (5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a BS degree)
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience as a System Administrator on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Demonstrated experience in Linux environments
  • Working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • DOD 8570 compliance with minimum of IAT Level 2
  • Ability to lead a technical team (system administrators, ISSEs, etc)
  • Experience with monitoring mission performance to ensure proper execution of the mission
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
  • Strong communications skills
  • Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
