About The Position
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of Salve Regina's computer systems and data center including servers, applications, and operating systems and leading the activities of the system administrators while ensuring optimal system performance, reliability, and data integrity, involving complex troubleshooting, project management, and implementation of new technologies. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible to the Sr Director of Network Services & Chief Technology Architect and functions in accordance with university policies and procedures.
