As part of the Silicon Solutions team at NVIDIA, you will be responsible for crafting new features and methodologies to optimize NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions.

Requirements

  • MS in EE, CE, Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience in a related hardware engineering position.
  • Previous experience with silicon bringup, frequency and power characterization, PPA in Pre-Silicon or Post-Silicon phases, tester-to-system correlation, JMP or equivalent data analysis tools, and lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQ).
  • Scripting experience with Perl/ Python.
  • Exposure to Windows, Linux, and Android OS environments.

  • Some familiarity with statistical methods and tools for data analysis
  • A "go-getter, can get it done" attitude and independent 'out-of-the-box' thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with system architects, hardware, software/firmware, process/reliability, product, and operations teams to co-design System level Speed Features and deliver industry-defining products.
  • Provide system requirements for new hardware and system features affecting Speed and Reliability, from Pre-silicon through productization.
  • Translate hardware feature and architecture requirements into effective validation techniques, ensuring coverage across testing flows.
  • Correlate silicon behavior against timing simulation and design expectations, providing actionable feedback to improve future designs.
  • Define, prototype, and refine pre- and post-silicon bring-up flows to ensure product quality, performance, and schedule efficiency.
  • Design and implement automation tools for System Speed Modeling.
  • Architect and influence testability features critical to performance, power, and reliability, working closely with design, DFx, and ATE teams.
  • Lead debug of complex silicon and system-level issues, including show-stopper defects, to enable on-time product shipment.
