This position is responsible for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance, management, and support of the SAP systems environment, including Administration, Sales, Distribution, and other areas. The role involves administering applications and systems, responding to problems, and planning for growth. You will understand the technical infrastructure standards and requirements for the integration of specific SAP modules and design application architecture specific to SAP technologies for solution integration. Additionally, you will support integration of changes in test, pre-production, and production environments and complete migration tasks such as change request review, software build coordination, release documentation, production issue resolution, and tracking report distribution. You will monitor the performance of system applications and execute contingency plans in case of system outages, troubleshoot a wide variety of technical problems, and provide Level II support to the Help Desk. The role also includes implementing SAP services such as initial installation and subsequent installations of updates and patches, developing processes, and overseeing the installation of upgrades and patches for the enterprise SAP system. This position requires 5% domestic travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a SAP Systems Administrator, Architect, or related position.
  • Experience with SAP Suite of products including ECC, CRM, GTS, OER, BI, SRM, MDM, BPC, PI, SolMan, GRC, Trex, and EHS.
  • Experience performing integration of SAP Systems with non-SAP technologies.
  • Familiarity with operating systems including Windows Server, HP-UX, AIX, Unix, Linux.
  • Experience with database management systems including Oracle, MS SQL server, Sybase, MAX DB, and HANA.
  • Experience working with large SAP systems with at least 10TB+ database size and 25+ application servers.
