What will you do in this role? As a Senior Systems Administrator at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll maintain and optimize our critical infrastructure and applications. You'll join a collaborative team dedicated to supporting our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this position, you'll manage complex enterprise systems, implement effective solutions, and ensure maximum system performance and reliability. Working with advanced technologies across cloud and on-premises environments, you'll have opportunities to drive automation, improve processes, and contribute to our digital transformation initiatives. This role provides hands-on, end-to-end operational support for laboratory instruments, instrument systems & software and enterprise applications like LIMS and ELN used by the labs. You will own the day-to-day setup, maintenance support, upgrades/patching, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring needed to keep systems stable with minimal downtime, while supporting change control and instrument/system validation activities.
