Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works Organization is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support the Virtual Warfare Center in Berkeley, MO. The Virtual Warfare Center's Infrastructure team is responsible for the design, maintenance, and operation of computing, networking, audio visual, and physical environment. The VWC has several locations across the United States dedicated to large scale Modeling & Simulation engagements. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkeley, MO.

Requirements

9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
5+ years of System Administration experience on Windows platforms
Ability to obtain security certifications such as Security+ or equivalent IAT Level 2 certifications per DoD Instruction 8570 (8140)
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active
Ability to obtain SCI Access Post Start
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

Experience executing DoD STIGs for operating systems
Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) security processes
Experience providing system administration of RedHat 7.x and above

Responsibilities

Defines and validates requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems.
Oversees system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of IT Infrastructure to support the architecture.
Provides complex problem resolution, root cause analysis and technical support for delivery systems.
Develops and deploys new or revised processes in support of new computing systems, including documentation and training.
Supports the development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes.
Administers user system access and establishes safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements.
Leads integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements.
Oversees activities to monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning.
Mentors, leads and trains others.
