About The Position

The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for providing day-to-day support, configuration, and maintenance of all the systems within the IT Infrastructure which includes firewalls, switches, servers, SAN storage systems, VoIP system, Cloud Services, and all business critical applications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Helpdesk support and/or Windows system administration experience. Linux administration is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure AD (Entra ID), Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proven ability to manage and integrate on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD/Entra ID in hybrid configurations.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure management, including identity and access management (IAM), security groups, and policy enforcement in Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with Azure networking concepts including VNets, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and network security groups.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V and the ability to design, implement and performance tune such environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and experience migrating workloads from on-premises to Azure.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, or Terraform is preferred.
  • Experience working in co-located data centers, including the design and standup of new data center.
  • Understanding of cloud cost optimization and resource management practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
  • Available to work a flexible work schedule, including nights/weekends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with regularly changing priorities and developing opportunities, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support IT related projects in alignment with business objectives, evaluate and recommend appropriate technical solutions in the areas of infrastructure and applications, and oversee the management of network security and telecommunications administration.
  • Support and manage the day-to-day operations of all business critical systems within the corporate office and data center networks by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.
  • Oversee the operation of technology resources (networks, servers, and computers, software, and data services).
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, policies and procedures to establish and maintain organizational structure.
  • Other duties as assigned.
