Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, information technology, engineering, or scientific field or the equivalent plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- proven system administration past performance, including Linux and Windows administration, firewall and switch configuration and scripting and software development
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while engaging in multiple tasks at once
- Strong listening and problem-solving skills
- Experience with computer virtualization and VDI architecture
- Strong understanding of computer architecture

Responsibilities
- Participate in network architecture design and review
- Build, configure, and test new Linux and Windows based servers and workstations
- Develop scripts to automate administration and auditing workloads
- Implement NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53 compliant procedures and security controls
- Actively participate in the development of security practices and procedures to promote security across the organization
- Perform security auditing
- Provide IT support to employees in a fast paced, technically diverse environment
- Thoroughly document system adds, changes, and modifications
- Stay current with industry best practices, vulnerabilities and countermeasure solutions
- Provide troubleshooting of network and software issues
- Work in a team environment performing ISSO duties in coordination with and under supervision of an ISSM
