About The Position

The Senior System Administrator (DevSecOps) position at DCS Corp involves providing system administration support for the DevSecOps team within the F/A-18 and EA-18G Integrated Product Team (IPT) at NAWCWD China Lake. The role requires advanced support in an enterprise environment, focusing on hardware and software installation, maintenance, and security of all servers and clients, both Windows and Linux. The administrator will also support the administration and maintenance of SAN hardware and OS, and all aspects of server and workstation virtualization. Compliance with cybersecurity requirements and controls is essential, along with providing technical support for organizational projects and coordinating activities with IT Management and other technical teams. The position also involves performance reporting for capacity planning, teamwork with cross-functional teams, implementation support for projects, and mentoring junior administrators.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • High school diploma/GED plus 20+ years of experience, or Associate's-level (AA/AS/Technical school) plus 14 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree in an IT field with 12 years of experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server and enterprise services.
  • Must be able to be granted a Secret security clearance and maintain one for the duration of employment.
  • Must be able to work onsite - This position is not remote work eligible.
  • Windows Operating System and Security+ or other certifications required within 6 months of start date to comply with DoD 8140.
  • Willingness and ability to work after hours/weekend support for patching and maintenance as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with outside agencies and work independently.
  • Possess professionalism, courtesy, high moral character, and integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Linux RHEL 7/8/9.
  • PowerShell or other scripting experience.
  • Experience with DISA security tools (STIGS and ACAS).

Responsibilities
