Inside the Role Join the Software & Electronics Development Process (SEDP) Group of TT/S for an exciting and challenging opportunity to transform and improve Daimler Truck Technology’s and Software and EE processes. This group is part of the Process, Methods, Tools, and Operations (PMT&O) department within TT/S. Established in 2021, TT/S is a global software and electronics group that is responsible for all global SW & EE development to deliver world-class software and features. TT/S is a global organization with over 1,400 people across the US, Germany, and India. As the Senior SW&EE Process Manager, you will define, align, roll out and support the successful implementation of our new Software & Electronics Development Process across global regions. You will lead process change agents, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and ensure alignment with global objectives. This role requires exceptional leadership, change management expertise, deep domain process management knowledge and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. This position is located in Portland and reports to the local PMT&O manager, and content wise to the TT/S collaboration model lead. We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of $104,000 – $133,000 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience. What You Drive Lead and oversee global process transformation initiatives within TT/S, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop, align, and execute strategic plans for process implementation across regions, including North America and other Daimler Truck regions. Build and maintain strong organizational networks across global teams to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across Daimler Truck regions. Influence stakeholders and senior leadership to drive timely progress on critical tasks. Provide guidance and mentorship to regional and global change agents and project teams. Facilitate executive- and staff-level workshops and meetings, ensuring clear communication and actionable outcomes. Define and monitor KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Create and deliver executive-level presentations on project status, risks, and opportunities. Champion change management practices to ensure smooth adoption of new processes. Champion a CI and Agile mindset by using agile and lean methodologies and tools. Collaborate with global partners to harmonize TT/S change processes and standards. Knowledge You Should Bring Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, including leadership in process transformation, continuous improvement, or project management. Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional, global teams and driving organizational change. Strong knowledge of Visual Management, R&D and Down Stream Process Development, and Structured Problem Solving. Understanding of DT development fundamentals (CVDS) and software development processes. Exceptional communication and networking skills across countries and cultures. Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex projects. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to define KPIs. Ability to work flexibly across time zones and travel internationally. Knowledge of change management frameworks and organizational development principles. Self-motivated with a positive, resilient mindset. Exceptional Candidates Might Have Formal training or certifications in Project Management, Scrum, Agile Methodologies, Change Management, Process Management and Continuous Improvement. Experience facilitating large-scale workshops and executive-level meetings. Knowledge of software development methodologies, V-Model and Systems Engineering, especially in TT/S. Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Familiarity with Process Modelling Tools (e.g. Signavio). Experience in global process harmonization and continuous improvement initiatives.
