The Senior Survey Technician is an advanced-level position within our surveying team, responsible for performing advanced surveying tasks, and ensuring the accurate and precise execution of survey projects. This role involves a high level of expertise in surveying software, data analysis, and project coordination. This role involves increased responsibility and serves as an important link between entry-level technicians and more senior survey staff. Key Responsibilities Data Management and Analysis Lead the transfer, organization, processing, and analysis of field data, working collaboratively with the survey team to maintain the highest data integrity. Coordinate with the project team on the development and review of the field package, field procedures, and general project lifecycle. Utilize advanced software and tools for data processing and analysis. Work closely with Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to learn how to analyze final boundary decisions. Team Leadership and Mentoring Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced technicians. Assist Survey Technicians I & II in task assignments, work scheduling, and project coordination. Client Interaction Communicate with clients and project managers, ensuring that project requirements are met, issues are addressed, and project progress is reported accurately.
