Requirements

Bachelor of Science or Associates of Science in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent degree
7+ years of experience with desires to be a contributor to the team.
Excellent written and oral communications skills to articulate technical concepts at all levels
Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills to be able to recognize, prioritize, and execute critical deadlines
Models a strong work ethic and is enthusiastic about learning and development opportunities
Working knowledge of Civil 3D, Carlson, Micro station and Microsoft office.
Experience with RTK GPS, Robotics total station, laser scanner, Trimble Access Data Collectors and Trimble Business Center

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise field survey crews in the collection of data for various types of surveys, including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of survey data by reviewing field notes, sketches, and electronic data
Operate and maintain survey equipment, including total stations, GPS, and data collectors
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliverables
Prepare and review survey reports, maps, and drawings
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards
Provide training and mentorship to junior survey crew members
Conduct quality control checks and ensure adherence to safety protocols on-site
