About The Position

Under general supervision, the intermediate surgical technologist works under the supervision of the registered nurse and medical staff to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room for procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies
• Maintain a safe and organized operating room environment
• Ensure that all equipment functions properly and is in good working condition
• Assist the surgical team with patient positioning and preparation for procedures
• Follow established protocols and procedures for patient care and surgical procedures
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and surgical procedures
• Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and patient care
