Senior Surgical Technician - Outpatient Surgery
About The Position
The Senior Surgical Technologist (ST) in the Ambulatory Surgery Center is responsible for facilitating the surgical procedure through the assembly of instrumentation, equipment and supplies. The Senior Surgical Technologist works as a member of the ambulatory surgery center team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of Swedish Medical Group. Requirements
- Coursework/Training: Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
- Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 5 years Experience in an operating room.
Nice To Haves
- Upon hire: National certification by the Liaison Council on Certification for Surgical Technologists.
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery center operating room.
