About The Position

Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Coordinator will actively assist in coordination of the day-to-day activities in the assigned Service Line. The Coordinator takes a leading role in servicing orienting new staff, performance improvement, scheduling, and working with physicians for improved outcomes, and precepts new employees. The Technical Coordinator ensures effective communication with the physicians, circulating nurses, surgical technicians, ancillary staff, and patients to maintain an environment conducive to the patients' well-being.

Requirements

• Good Organizational Skills
• Acute Care Experience
• BLS Certification
• Skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Demonstrated customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Nice To Haves

• Surgical Tech Certificate
• Minimum 5 years experience in Service Line assigned to Graduate from Accredited Surgical Tech Program
• Completion of medical terminology class or knowledge of medical terms
• Computer knowledge
• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
